Thurs Am, trying to get dressed for work and Sassy Tahoe comes into my closet and starts asking me about these little jewelry pouches I have from my grandmother. I begin to tell her all about them when she chimes in....
ST: Mom, you know what you need? You need a gold kit for all your old gold! You call the number and they send the kit right to your door. You don't have to do anything except put your old gold in the kit and mail it back to them! The mailman does the hard part and then they will send you CASH for your jewelry. And you can use that cash to go on vacation, or pay bills or buy me stuff! (Without taking a breath)You really need that gold kit for all your old gold. And they will send you CASH mom for vacation!
She recited the ENTIRE commercial almost word for word. I was so shocked that all I could say was "Do you think you watch too much TV?" (keep in mind she is 4!)

MT#1: Mom, you have a lot of jewelry....you know what you need? That goldkit from TV. They will send you cash for your jewelry. And which would you rather have...cash or jewelry?
OK....WTF? All they are proving is that they watch WAY too much TV and that infomercials definitely do work!
Oh but I found the list of stuff they are buying people for Christmas...
