1. My adorable children (adorable when they are not screaming, fighting and buying random things on ebay...tell ya later)
2. Titan Boy's New Wheels on the Titan...(Oh that makes him happy not me oops)
3. All My Smiling Employees showing up for work on time
4. Customers with cash in their pockets to buy stuff in the store!
5. My absentee ballot all done and ready to go in the mail.

Ok so maybe these are not all the things that make me happy but the ones on the top of todays list!

This would be a picture of Titan Boy in our annual Easter Lawn Tractor race at a neighbors house! I couldn't be more proud. We never win the race but we always get Best in Show cause our orange lawn tractor has a hood ornament and lady silhouette stickers on the flaps! WOO HOO!

Kids and Computers!

So late this afternoon I am helping a customer at the store. Sweet lady. She and I have been working on a project for her bedroom for a couple of weeks now. Anyway, my pocket starts vibrating and I check to make sure its not my children trying to get a hold of me. (please know that I only interrupt a customer if it is my children not just to chit chat on the phone)

Ok so here are the two emails I got...
#1 You Have Won! Ebay Item #1234567 is yours!
#2 Invoice for Ebay Item # 1234567

Ok, I am at work and have not bid on anything on ebay in months. So at first I think it is a scam. I have bought computers and cameras on ebay before but somehow my ship to address was in Malaysia, when I live in GA.

Oh no this was not a mistake or a scam. I am now the proud owner of a Battle Set of Bakugans. If you are lucky enough not to know what those are they are the hottest thing in the world to an 8 year old boy. They also cost $40 on ebay but $20 at Target.

I immediately call home. Get Super Nanny on the phone and find out Mini Tahoe #1 is playing outside but before that he was on the computer. I ask her to put him on the phone....

TG: Mini what were you doing on the computer?
MT#1: Oh playing games and looking up Bakugans. I saw a cool battle pack.
TG: Ugh, did you buy it?
MT#1: NO, how could I do that? I just pushed the arrow button to see more pictures.
TG: Ugh, you bought them. That arrow said "Buy IT Now".
MT#1: OH, um, oh, are they coming in the mail? It's no big deal mom it's only $40.
TG: Do you have $40? Cause that is alot of money.
MT#1: No, but since they are coming anyway can I have them?
TG:?????????? We will talk about it when I get home.
MT#!: OK Mom. I love you!

Great! Turns out my computer saves my ebay passwords, etc and he was able to buy himself some new Bakugans! I emailed the seller hoping to play into his sympathys but somehow I doubt it. What Mini doesn't know is I already bought that set and they are in the dining room drawer to be his next reward for good numbers at school!

The best part of all is when Titan Boy got home he was talking to mini#1 about computer usage etc ...
TB: Mini you need to be very careful when you are on Ebay....

Crazy then, Crazier Now

Over the past few months I have been reconnecting with old friends. My best friend from growing up, guy I had a crush on in middle school, youth group friends just to name a few. Now the great thing about this has been the friendships I have rekindled and the new friendships I have made by meeting spouses etc, but some of these people have just lost a few "important" pieces to the puzzle over the years and have gone completely crazy....

For example....
1. Very Cute Guy I had a crush on in High School
Then: Super Bad Boy with a criminal record (nothing really bad just teenager stuff)
Now: Married with a baby and a total jump to the other side with a huge emphasis in religion and clean living with herbs and vitamins

2. Friend from childhood who thinks we all want copies of her "glamour shots".

3. This is my favorite...Youth Group Guy who has always been odd.
Then: Older guy hanging with younger girls to be cool I guess, we just used him for the free rides
Now: Turns out he had a big crush on my dear friend (who is now married and lives in another state) and has recently found her using one of the many internet based profile sites. Anyway, he lives in another country now and is sending her song lyrics and poems, telling her she has screwed his world all up again, comments on all her pictures, etc. etc. Basically he has become a cyber "stalker".

Wanna know the best part?

She doesn't even remember who he is! Yep,she is drawing a total blank! And he wants to know why she won't respond to his emails!!!!

Makeovers Pre-K Style....

Sassy Mini Tahoe Strikes again! Only this time it was at school!

Yesterday I get a note home saying "Sassy Tahoe needs to leave the nail polish and makeup at home". Umm Okay?

So the investigation begins....

Here is how the conversation went down...

TG: Sassy did you take something to school today that you were not supposed to?
ST: (Big SMile) No mommy, why do you ask?
TG: Really, nothing?
ST: Oh, you mean my makeup and nail polish?
TG: Yes, that is exactly what I mean. You know that you can only play with that at home when mommy is watching.
ST: I know but we opened a salon at school and those girls needed makeovers!

SO this morning I go to school with her to remove the "contraband" and ask the teacher all the details. (Making sure she knows I did not let her bring it to school.)

Turns out she had quite a list of clients waiting in line at her salon! They all had makeovers, complete with blue glitter eye shadow, and manicures.

Now I dont know if you have ever had a manicure via a 5 year old so let's just say they had "pink thumbs!"

Can't wait to hear about todays adventures!

Top Ten Things I Have Always Wanted To Say To Customers...

1. It's just thread, we are not curing cancer here. Relax!
2. You have bad taste.Those colors are ugly.
3. Yes your item will be ready today. It will be today until midnight tonight and I will have it ready by then.
4. No it's not okay for your child to lick the luvies or "play" with the dolls.
5. No you cannot have your stuff done today. We do not monogram while you wait.
6. No you are not friends with the owner. I have never met you before in my life.
7. We are closed. I am not opening everything back up so you can get "Just One Thing".
8. It is not our fault you misspelled your child's name.
9. We stopped our buy one get one promotion because of cheap ass people like you who bring us dirty pee stained stuff and then bitch about how it turned out.
10. No you cannot have a discount because your rich (or think you are).

Ok, i feel a little better now. I'd feel a wholelotbetter if this damn space bar was not broken on the right side?????

Dear Blog,

I am sorry that I have been ignoring you lately. I now you feel like you are not a priority in my life and that is simply not true. I have been busy, very busy. The mini tahoes have had baseball, cub scouts, cheerleading, croup, fevers, rashes, homework, teachers resign, teachers birthdays, and needed clean clothes. Work has been absolutely crazy now that am down to four employees and we won't even talk about Titan Boy.

I know this is no excuse and you deserve to be back at the top of the list. I promise to work harder to keep you up to date on all the happenings at the Tahoe Household. Soon we will be hand in hand again gossiping and sharing all the fun things in life. Please don't turn your back on me. I need you. You keep me sane.

I will be back tomorrow for a visit.
