Bert's Big Adventure 2009

I am still on cloud nine after the sendoff party yesterday!

We have a morning radio show here in Atlanta that puts together a trip every year for 14 children with disabilities or illnesses to go to Disney World. They include everyone in the family, mom, dad, the siblings, EVERYONE gets to go! It is such an amazing thing and Monograms wanted to get involved!

I have wanted to get involved for the past two years but was not quite sure how. This year the opportunity walked right into the store! I was so excited to get the chance to work with this group and provide some fun but functional items for the families.

So this year, Monograms made family tote bags and t shirts for the families of Bert's Big Adventure! Check out our handy work!

We also, as a thank you, made waterbottles for the on air personalities...check out Jenn and Melissa with their super cute waterbottles...

They gave Vicki and I staff T Shirts from the event!

Please check out their website www.Bertsbigadventure.org You can see all they are doing to help these families escape from real life and be spoiled for four days! It is an amazing event each year and they can take all the help they can get! Maybe you know a family who needs their help or can help in other ways!

It warmed my heart to see all the kids and their parents smiling and having a great time at the sendoff party yesterday! I hope we can continue to work with them in the future! I am already working on next year's version!

Pay it Forward!!!!

I was listening to that yesterday!

I love Bert's Big Adventure. I think it is absolutely amazing how much Atlanta comes together for those kids.
